Ingredients
Scale
Crust
- 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- 5 Tbsp powdered sugar
- 6 Tbsp butter (melted)
Filling
- 1 (14-oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup frozen margarita mix concentrate (thawed)
- 1 (16-oz) container frozen sliced strawberries with sugar (thawed)
- 1 (8-oz) container cool whip (thawed)
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even crust layer. Set aside.
- Make the Filling Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and the thawed frozen margarita mix concentrate. Using an electric mixer, beat the mixture until it becomes smooth and well blended.
- Add Strawberries: Add the thawed frozen sliced strawberries with sugar into the mixture and gently beat at low speed until the strawberries are evenly incorporated.
- Fold in Cool Whip: Gently fold the thawed cool whip into the strawberry mixture. Be careful to combine without deflating the whipped texture. Once mixed, pour the filling evenly over the prepared graham cracker crust.
- Freeze the Pie: Cover the pie with plastic wrap to protect it from freezer odors and freeze for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight to allow it to set completely.
- Serve: When ready to serve, remove the pie from the freezer and let it stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before slicing. This allows the pie to soften slightly for easier serving.
Notes
- Make sure all frozen ingredients are fully thawed before mixing to ensure smooth consistency.
- Using a springform pan makes it easier to remove the pie without damaging its shape.
- You can garnish with fresh strawberries or lime slices for added presentation.
- This pie is best consumed within 2-3 days of freezing for optimal freshness.
- Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of powdered sugar or sweetened condensed milk if desired.
