Ingredients
Scale
Dip Ingredients
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 14 ounces artichoke hearts, drained and chopped finely
- 8 ounces fresh baby spinach
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 6 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Prep Slow Cooker: Lightly spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray to prevent the dip from sticking and to make cleanup easier.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the minced garlic, chopped artichoke hearts, fresh baby spinach, ground black pepper, cubed cream cheese, grated mozzarella, and shredded Parmesan cheese into the slow cooker. Stir thoroughly to evenly combine all the ingredients.
- Cook the Dip: Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on HIGH for 2 hours. Cook until the dip is heated through and the cheeses have fully melted, creating a creamy and smooth mixture.
- Serve Warm: Once cooked, give the dip a good stir. Serve the warm spinach artichoke dip with pita chips, crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetables such as carrots and celery for dipping.
Notes
- For a thicker dip, cook for an additional 15-30 minutes on LOW after the initial cooking time.
- You can substitute frozen chopped spinach (thawed and drained) if fresh baby spinach is unavailable.
- To add a spicy kick, consider mixing in a pinch of red pepper flakes or hot sauce.
- Make sure to drain the artichoke hearts well to prevent the dip from becoming watery.
- This dip can be kept warm in the slow cooker on the LOW setting for up to an hour before serving.
