Scale
Dip Ingredients
- 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8-oz) container sour cream
- 1 (1-oz) package ranch dressing mix
- 1 (10-oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy blending. Drain the canned diced tomatoes and green chilies thoroughly to avoid excess liquid in the dip.
- Combine in Food Processor: Place the softened cream cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, drained diced tomatoes and green chilies, and lime juice into a food processor. Process for about 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Chill the Dip: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve. Chilling allows the flavors to meld for the best taste.
- Serve: Serve the Southwest Ranch Dip chilled with fresh vegetables like carrot sticks, celery, and bell peppers, or with tortilla chips for dipping.
Notes
- For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or hot sauce.
- If you prefer a chunkier texture, pulse the food processor fewer times to retain some tomato chunks.
- This dip can be prepared a few hours ahead and stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Make sure to drain the diced tomatoes well to prevent the dip from becoming too watery.
- Use low-fat cream cheese and sour cream for a lighter version.
